CHARACTERIZATION NOTES
• one thing i like to emphasize about dick’s personality is how intense he can be. this has been gradually deemphasized in his recent publication history, but it’s something i remember strongly from his pre-flashpoint appearances across the new teen titans, outsiders vol. 3, tomasi’s nightwing run, etc. while he can definitely be laid back, he isn’t afraid to be a hardass who holds himself and his peers to high standards when it comes to being superheroes. dick can be charming and diplomatic, but he can also be abrasive and blunt. sometimes he gets carried away with his words and cuts deep, sometimes he even cuts himself off from his support system when he gets too involved in a case. in this way, i’m kind of trying to synthesize dick’s pre-flashpoint characterization with more recent rebirth continuity a la tom taylor / bruno redondo's run (i still like it well enough btw). but i'm sensing a return to form in the dan watters / dexter soy's run.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: yes, if there's assumed or established cr relationship-wise.
MENTAL CONTACT: sure, but let's hash it out first - like the other bat-people dick's mind is conditioned against (but not impervious to) mental intrusion/suggestion
FIGHTING/INJURY: sure, but let's hash it out first
DEATH: nah, i'd hate to give dan didio the satisfaction
ETC: always down for a variety of plots ranging from fluff, hurt/comfort, superhero shenanigans, solving mysteries, to domestic/slice of life stuff. i'm always a fan of branching out and drawing from comics lore. exploring and interacting with the larger universe of each character - in all the weirdness each setting offers - is a huge plus (bonus points for melding aspects of two characters' respective universes during crosscanon). tonally i rly am down to write from the fluffiest of fluff to dark plots that really challenge these characters
• au's are also a fantastic option, especially video game settings e.g. dark souls, bloodborne, monster hunter, elder scrolls
